The Corona Fire Safety Foundation is an all-volunteer organization. Our members and Board of Directors do not receive compensation for their time and effort. Our motivation is rooted in a spirit of public service, and a passion for promoting and enhancing public safety and preparedness within our community.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets regularly to ensure that the Foundation's activities remain consistent with our strategic plan, that our engagements are effective, productive, and conducive to our overall mission and vision, and to ensure that people, resources and finances are in place to accomplish our objectives.

Annual hunting trips with family and friends is what he always looks forward to.
Pete Sayegh, Secretary
I have been a Corona resident since 2005. I grew up in Huntington Beach, graduated from Marina High School and am currently enrolled in Grand Canyon University where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. I am happily married to Mona (17 years) and we have three amazing kids, ages 12, 13 and 14. My love for Corona began the moment we called it home. I have enjoyed the weather, the people, and the lifestyle. I especially enjoy serving on the two boards that support the Corona Fire and Police Departments. Volunteering in this community has afforded me some of the best relationships with amazing people, both spiritually and socially.
Greg Becker, CFO
Greg was elected to the Board in September, 2015. He grew up in Orange County and moved to Riverside in 1988 and then to Corona in 1999. He has been married to his wife, Bridget since 1987. They have three daughters, Brittney, Ashley and Cierra and two granddaughters, Brooklynn and Aubree. Greg is self- employed and has been in the dairy business since 1982. He is actively involved in his Church (Harvest Christian Fellowship-South Corona location) serving as ministry coordinator for both the Usher Ministry and Men's Valor Bible study. Greg enjoys a nice round of golf, spending time with his family and working on his Christmas display year round.
David Duffy, Fire Chief
I have been a proud member of the Corona Fire Department since 1997 and am a graduate of Rancho Santiago’s 93rd Basic Fire Academy. I came up through the ranks on the Corona Fire Department and currently serve as Fire Chief. For the past 25 years, my wife Connie and I have called Corona home and in the past have owned and operated a printing business in Corona. My heart and passion for public service has led me to serve on the Corona Fire Safety Foundation (CSFS) board. I join my fellow CSFS Board Members to further promote public safety awareness, preparedness and education within the community.
Eric Estes, Corona Firefighters Association
I’m excited to begin 2016 as your new CFA representative! I have lived in Corona since 1998, and attended Prado View, Rainey Intermediate and Santiago High School. My wife Whitney and I have a beautiful baby boy named Brody. I began my career in the Fire Service in 2012 with the Palm Springs Fire Department, and joined the Corona Fire Department family in 2014. I enjoy traveling with my family, and playing hockey with the Ontario Fire Department, which hosts the Fire On Ice game that raises over $25,000 every year for charity.
